The Louis Vuitton Resort 2008 is whimsical and flirty, which shows us why we fell in love with Marc Jaco in the first place. Forget the debauchery that has now become a signature in LV bags; what we have here ladies, is beautiful clothes. I loved the volume in the girly girl dresses created by floaty fabrics and contrasted with cheeky prints such as airplanes, speedboats and yachts. The mix of bright colors and feminine silhouettes make for clothes that will please everyone, not just jet setting social girls that resort collections cater to. I even like the large weekender bag trimmed in red patent leather (yes I know it’s monstously huge but it’s a travel bag and I am really into red today). I know what you’re thinking- I’m softening; but it’s really a great weekender bag for those quick trips to the Bermuda when you have to get away from the city grind (though we still detest the LV monogram this bag is not as vomit inducing as most)!
